#Toot is not less serious than #tweets. Even if it means #fart (like in some parts of just one country), there's nothing wrong with it. It makes Mastodon unique. It makes it stand out of the grey crowd. Just like tweet did with Twitter.
But I know where's it coming from. Eugen is asking himself why Mastodon is not growing bigger and someone in his bubble probably told him that 'toot' is not serious enough. But that is not the problem Eugen. The problem is what I already told everyone a while ago in this toot:
