  1. The reason I wanted to track symptoms is that I've had a couple of shitty days at the beginning of this week.

I had a super light bout of brain fuzz or maybe even vertigo. Not sure. (Yes, I've had the typo of vertigo that causes the entire room to spin. It wasn't that.)

This was accompanied by what I'd call a depressive episode.

    I'm feeling fine now.

What caused it? Fuck me if I know.

What got me out of it? Fuck me if I know.

The vertigo visits me from time to time. I don't think it is worsening, but I don't have good enough memory to know. Hence, the symptom tracker.

  5. I was going to ask what people do to keep track of symptoms.

Then I remembered I'm running Nextcloud at home. I searched the net, found a derelict app that was made specifically for health. Lucky for me that in the README they explained that the app wouldn't be updated anymore, but they pointed to the Tables app (and Analytics... I think) as replacements.

I installed the Tables app. I created a table for my symptoms with a date, and a description field, and voilà.

I also installed the Tables companion app on my phone.

No need to investigate a ton of other apps that won't satisfy my needs or (more likely) will be overly complex.

I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship between the Tables app and me.
