Battle Fatigued
2018 Canada pressingThis is a Canadian art-pop / #electronic duo from Vancouver which features Josh Wells from the bands Black Mountain and Lightning Dust.
And although I’m not a huge fan of either of those bands, I do have a great deal of affection for THIS project and particularly this record.
Sometimes it sounds like Suicide or Kraftwerk, and other times like the synthiest, poppiest #80s bands; like Depeche Mode or even Duran Duran.
It’s a SUPER-FUN record, and hits me like all the classic bands and albums of the #synthpop #artrock albums of the late #70s and early eighties.Just 40 years later.
