I'm an #Atheist (put a pin in that) who has been granted #Salvation by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ into my heart and being baptized at First Baptist Church, Main Street, Downtown El Paso, TX almost 4 decades prior. It's probably in their records. I wore the mystical white robe, walked into the holy hot tub, and got dunked right into the queue for #Heavenly admission.

I was a tween when I chose God. I believed in them then. I don't now. Now I'm a #Saganist with an atheist-scientist bias. But I'd be deceiving myself foremost if I didn't acknowledge that Saganism is ultimately theistic. So I no longer identify as an atheist as of like a few days ago. Atheism is where my heart will remain always. But because words mean things, if all I've done is swap out holy spirit for faith in free will abiding within #quantum #superdeterminism … well, what is that but textbook theism?

@ZachWeinersmith I feel like superdeterinism should be called something like "Universal Conspiracy", because it amounts to the universe, from the big bang forward, being arranged in just such a way to make sure our little experiments have correlations they shouldn't.
