Looks like the main element in the electric oven burned out while I was pre-heating it. Thankfully I bought a Breville Smart Oven in 2022. It's been in the box and unused for a while, but it came to the rescue tonight so we could bake the stuffed peppers.

I won't go into why the Breville had been unused for many months, but suffice it to say if things had gone the way I thought they were going to go, it would have been used more these last few months.
