For my degree, I did a #qualitative, #ParticipantObserver #Ethnographic study of alternative club culture.
I want(ed) to document all the tiny subcultural facets of #greb #clubbing because, when I went to the journals - there was pretty much nothing. There was some stuff about #hardcore and #StraightEdgePunk but that was pretty old.
I feel sad that a subculture that is such a part of many people's identity isn't documented more.

En 1997, tras un #blackout alcohólico decidí dejar de beber. Desde entonces soy un punk #straightedge. Llevo 25 años sobrio, sin drogas, alcohol, tabaco ni café y muy feliz.
In 1997, after an alcoholic blackout, I quit drinking. I'd been a #straightedgepunk ever since. 25 years without #drugs, #alcohol, #tobacco or #coffee and happy about it.
