hmm. Tomorrow's Ojai rain forecast has increased to over an inch. starting as early as 4p, and peaking around 10p with 1/3"/hr rates.
The next system has shifted to not starting until Sunday night, but then at least 4 days of rain, with 3.6" currently forecast.

For reasons known only to #accessparatransit I had to book my pickup at 8am (and wasn't picked up til like 8:15 lol), so there I was, freezing my hands... lol. (But fr brrrrr.)

Southern California Edison is now calling power shutoffs "de-energizations." That's so much more comforting when waking up in Crestline with no heater running and it's 25 °F outside. 🙄

UNCONFIRMED reports that SoCal Edison is going to begin a Pubic Safety Power Shutoff in the San Bernardino Mountains community of Running Springs (pop. 5,268) in about two hours. I have not received one for Crestline, but SCE often botches getting emails and texts out in a timely manner.

The number of people setting off fireworks in a residential neighborhood in a county where they're fucking illegal AND I'm pretty sure we're under a red flag warning thru like Sunday is fucking ridiculous.

@nws_sgx For those that might have heard about CA SR-138 being closed, this is why. Thankfully for Miss KoKo and me, this is not the way we go every day. Our local amateur met measured over 5 inches of rain in Crestline (12.7 cm).
