- The MMDVM-Multi program written as per above, using #libliquid and #SoapySDR. It can be used with the #PlutoSDR, #LimeSDR family, Ettus #USRP bus devices, and hopefully soon also the #SXceiver which has become very popular recently with hams due to the MidnightBlueLabs TETRA stack

- The release of MMDVM-IQ by G4KLX means that a new, completely distributed #DMR #trunking stack is possible, using only UDP messaging protocols instead of various hacks on top of UDP, ZeroMQ and virtual PTY

bladeRF 2.0 micro xA9: обзор реальных проектов, приложений и фреймворков

Я решил продолжить обзор bladeRF 2.0 micro xA9 через рассмотрение списка проектов, которые наиболее ярким образом демонстрируют возможности данного SDR в реальных применениях. Многие из этих вариантов прямо или косвенно базируются и обусловлены возможностями данного SDR. Перебирая все упоминания проектов с поддержкой bladeRF, я пришел к выводу, что bladeRF 2.0 micro xA9 лучше всего раскрывается там, где нужны не просто прием и декодирование, а широкий захват, передача, full duplex, MIMO, FPGA и кастомные GNU Radio/Soapy/libbladeRF сценарии. Самые сильные и практически ценные направления рассмотрим ниже. Но обо всем по порядку. Всем заинтересовавшимся - добро пожаловать под кат =)

Today instead of #gqrx i re-tried using #linhpsdr
The software immediately found the #AdalmPluto via #SoapySDR and showed the waterfall of narrow band #qo100 satellite. So far so good!
When pressing the TUNE knob the cli showed:
rxtx: isTransmitting=1
and on depress:
rxtx: isTransmitting=0
However I heard nothing on a real radio on the frequency. I tried usb and cw.
After this little TX test audo drops dead ( SOUNDIO backend PulseAudio Sample Rate 48000 ).

Was able to hook my spectrum analyzer to #sdrpp via #soapysdr so it can be used as a #sdr for #hamradio.

Pretty sweet, but not much going on on the 2 m band with the antenna in the basement. Working on building a active magnetic loop antenna for #hf. That should be more interesting :)
