Happy Bike to Wherever Day! 🚲
Spent the morning volunteering for the SF Bicycle Coalition.
Some highlights:
- the guy on the bike in the protected bike lane who gave a thumbs down 👎🏼 when he heard it was the #SFBC 😬
- the woman with the child on the back of her bike who wasn't going to stop for the free tote bag and stickers until I yelled "shiny stickers!" 💪🏼
- the boomerangs: people who didn't stop initially but turned around at the end of the block when they realized they could get free stuff 😁
The great SF weather! 🌞 It was actually sunny and cool.

Do you know about #LTE transmitters and can help with some questions? I have what I hope is a simple question about space frequency block coding #SFBC implementation.
SFBC is a special case of space time block coding (#STBC) in #mimo, where we get a stream of transmitter samples that are supposed to go out the door and on the air, and we use some tricks to get better reliability in #multipath environments.

I was a member of the San francisco bicycle coalition #sfbike #sfbc for nearly 20 years, volunteering and donating. The leadership too often put personal politics ahead of the best interests of cyclists. I didn’t think I’d see a day when the taxi association and the bicycle coalition found common cause but apparently vehicles with a safer driving record unite them https://sfbike.org/news/the-sf-bicycle-coalitions-stance-on-robotaxi-expansion
