I was day dreaming a bit about visiting China in like 5 years and did a quick web search: 2700€ for flights for a family? (Searched just for one city and for a random time next year, to get an idea.)

Flights are complicated and everything but my brain can’t comprehend paying that much money for something that unpleasant. Sitting in a plane for like 13 hours, with kids.

Maybe I start saving now, not sure yet. But dear great pandas of Chengdu, I think it is more likely we’ll never meet.
