De school van mijn dochter krijgt door werkzaamheden al drie ochtenden een voorproefje van de schoolstraat. Een deel negeert de afsluiting en de verkeersregelaar, maar die helpen daarmee de straat definitief af te sluiten. Het is licht chaotisch, behalve bij de school, daar is nu geen getoeter of gescheld en maken ouders een praatje.

Kregen vandaag een voorproefje van de #schoolstraat. Dit kwam dan wel door een verhuiswagen, maar toch.

Aantal ouders waren tegen het verkeer in toch de straat in gereden. Het gezamenlijk achteruit terugrijden werd een soort slapstick met wat lakschade.

This morning on our school street (photo left on an ordinary day), a motorist thought it was unacceptable that he was not allowed to drive into the street... a street where children and parents were walking and cycling to school.

After some yelling, the driver accelerated and drove straight past the crowd barriers into the school street... onto a metal pole.

I hope the driver does not get off with a simple fine.
