Jim Thornton, the announcer for the game show Wheel of Fortune, was fired by Sony Pictures Television in September 2026 after allegations surfaced that he visited a pedophilia support chatroom while on a commercial flight. 

The Incident: Photos taken by a fellow passenger on an American Airlines flight in May 2026 showed Thornton on the website lifeline.chat, which provides support for individuals with pedophilic thoughts.  The chat logs included disturbing references to minors and an abbreviation for child pornography.

An East London school’s decision to suspend an eight-year-old student for pinning a Palestine flag to his coat in memory of his relatives killed in Gaza has sparked anger, and triggered by the Muslim community against school management's anti-Palestine stand, media reports said.

The incident comes amid a spate of similar incidents in several western countries where educational institutions have clamped down on any show of support for Palestine under the pretext of anti-Semitism.

We really reached a new low when it comes to our humanity. Hypocrisy and racism have taken over our minds and most people ignore the horrors of genicide and some even justify and defend it.

I wasn't alive during the Holocaust, but I don't think many people, if any would have justified the mass murder of Jews, Roma, LGBTQ and Soviet citizens so openly and shamelessly, and definitely not the murder of innocent children.

I don't remember reading anything about Nazis shooting children in the head for sport like the Israeli snipers have been doing in Gaza and occupied West Bank.

But, here we are. Watching Israel murder innocent children and publicly announce it and calling it self-defense policy.

Killing an unarmed civilian is a crime, killing an innocent child in closed range is just unimaginable

One must be full of hate and rage to be able to murder an innocent child while looking them in the eye.

And I'm sure he will get a tap on the back and highly likely a new position with a promotion.

Today marks the 76th anniversary of the Deir Yassin Massacre, when hundreds of armed Zionist militiamen from the pre-1948 #Irgun and #Stern gangs committed one of the cruelest massacres in the history of Palestine.

On April 9, 1948, Zionist gangs raided the village of Deir Yassin, west of #Jerusalem, killing nearly 250 Palestinian civilians, mainly women, children and the elderly. Cases of rape, mutilation and humiliation were documented.

Of nearly 70 #massacres during the 1948 #Nakba, Deir Yassin would become one of those atrocities where almost all the acts of war criminality were unleashed: killing, destruction, pillaging, rape, and displacement.

#DeirYassin is a powerful symbol of Palestinian dispossession, as well as a historical fact that the occupying Israeli regime must confront when retelling its national narrative.
