Whine or wine? Last night, picked wine. An odd duo for the main event, the Thalassitis 2015 Assyrtiko, with synthetic cork, was super. So youthful, so fresh, restrained and elegant. The Pegau 1998 Reservée opened slowly, but blossomed into pure deliciousness. A little rough around the edges, it could use drinking, but it was no slouch. And a sweet conclusion posted on recently.
