Spectacular running this morning, starting with a moon set in the mist and Venus bright and high. I got to my trail run turn around for sunrise, and had close encounters with four wallabies. Run no. 11 of 2025

Just saw that my shoes have broken 400 miles. Probably about time to trade them in for a new pair... #RunningToot

Run #7 of 2024. Gosford to Wyoming and Narara and return. Slowly picking up the time and distance in a humid 22 deg C.
And this week signed up to the Sydney Half Marathon in three months.

My 2023 #running stats. It felt like a big year, but the stats say otherwise. 2021 stands out as a high km year - it seems lockdowns and work from home for 6 months = more runs

My 50th run of 2023 is done - an early 5 in 30 before the commute. Summer is almost here, which means more cycling, shorter runs.

#running this morning before work to collect my runners bib for the #sydneymarathon event this weekend.
Because the organisers moved the expo to possibly the furthest place from convenient public transport in central Sydney.
Still, got to explore some more of Sydney...

My 41st run of the year - a penguin serving drinks anyone?
Also, tapering for the Sydney Marathon running festival next weekend

It was 15 deg C at 05:30 today, which is about 10 deg C above the typical July minimum temp here on the Central Coast of NSW. I just had to go for a run and enjoy the warmth and 🌒 rise #runningToot #running

The quarter century on the second day of winter - my 25th run of the year. A very mundane route as I break in new runners. Two weeks to go until the beautiful #Bay2Bay half marathon #runningToot #running

Somehow I have stayed injury free and have reached half marathon distance one month before the first run of the year, the Sydney half marathon.
Today, lots of loops around the former site of Sydney Reptile Park and runs to the trail heads in Wyoming (the Australian one).

The runs are getting longer. A loop to Lisarow this morning featured a fruit 🦇, a swamp 🦘 and sunrise at this 🥧 factory #runningToot #running

#sunrise at the halfway point on the morning run

Right run of 2023. Autumn is coming and it is getting darker for the weekend early run. Sydney Half Marathon entries are now open, time to start to build up time and distance.

2023 run number 2, and a wet and windy run past a large concrete gecko. It marks the former site of the Australian Reptile Park. -

A #runningToot - today I got to run 52 of 2022. And I was welcomed home by a Brush Turkey. Hoping for a strong 2023 #running year.
