I had the privilege of having Jeff Galloway cheer me on (and 10,000 others) at my first half marathon last year. I’ll never forget his kindness and support, nor all of the words of wisdom he imparted though his books and articles. My heart aches at the loss. The #Disneyland10k medal features an enchanted mop on the back part, and then Sorcerer Mickey is actually a separate piece on top that's on a bendy. Again, in the background, for the nod to #Disneyland70, there's a magenta "7" and a light blue "0".

I already heard about the #DisneylandHalf medal featuring it's a small world, so I'm looking forward to seeing that medal tomorrow. #runDisney #Disneyland

As I mentioned, I'm not racing this weekend, but the husband is doing all three #runDisney races at #Disneyland. I'm loving the medals so far, especially with the moving elements. The #Disneyland5k medal featuring Joy from #InsideOut includes the little flower bursts as spinnies. And I would have missed it, but the nod to #Disneyland70 is the purple "7" and orange "0" in the background.

I'm not racing this weekend, but I couldn't resist the #ChipAndDale #runDisney shoes. So cute!!!

The tongue of the shoes and the swoosh with the Brooks label are both flocked.

Did my first *official* marathon today at the #runDisney Walt Disney World Marathon weekend. I didn’t get the time I was aiming for (5:08:41 but really wanted something closer to 4:30) but I haven’t really lost any weight this year, plus with the two boys and a girl on the way in less than three weeks I’ve rarely been able to put away more than 10-15 miles in a single day. I’d like to come back when things settle down a bit. It was still a great day of #running

Adjusted plan to walk a bit, then run out the mile for a few repeats instead of trying to power through and it probably saved the race. Humidity and I are mortal enemies. #running #runDisney #Marathon #GoofyChallenge

@chrisjansmann That was my last #runDisney race weekend. Yeah, I was pretty bundled for the 5k and 10k. The half wasn't quite as bad. The September races are notorious for often being very hot, so it's good to keep a lookout on the temps starting a week before race weekend, just so you're prepared.

@chrisjansmann Great job! Keep it up. In case you haven't done a summer / fall race in Anaheim before, the thing to look out for is the heat. It can be very warm during the race, so be prepared for that. #runDisney

In today's episode of "Tales of Me Not Remembering What I'm Wearing", the bagger at the American grocery store was talking about how she remembered at one time that something was offered, and at that point, I wasn't sure what subject she was talking about. And then she mentioned a 5k race at #Disneyland. And I wondered how she happened to bring that up, right before I remembered that I was wearing a #runDisney shirt from a #StarWars race weekend. 🤷🤦😀

Sad to see this story about a man who died after finishing the half marathon at Disneyland this past Sunday, but I can't imagine why he thought that was a good thing to attempt when he passed out from heat exhaustion the day before. I wish he'd made better choices. Sympathy to his family. #runDisney

The aftermath of my small support station this morning for the #runDisney #Disneyland #DLRHalloweenHalf . It wasn't quite as brutal as the Pixar #DisneylandHalf in 2017 but it was still too warm and too humid. Good to see some of the racers as they went past. They're going to have to decide soon about the #DLRHalloweenHalf on Sunday. That high is ridiculous, but as of right now, the temp at 5am is "only" going to be 75, not nearly as bad as it was for the Pixar #DisneylandHalf in 2017 when it was 85 at the start of the race. #runDisney #Disneyland

I don't normally look at the spectator tab for #runDisney events, so I don't know how long the last "tip" has been there. Considering how many people and groups provide general support stations for these races, I wonder what their reasoning is for discouraging giving support. At least as far as I've seen, they're very much a help, not a hindrance. #DisneylandHalf #DLRHalloweenHalf #Disneyland

The last point in pro tips reads "Do not hand out food or drinks to athletes on the race course."

Things I never thought I'd see at #D23Expo #D23 , but night two saw #JoshDAmaro being interrupted by #Deadpool . Can I tell you how much I loved the #LogansRun moniker? Make it a 5k and that might actually get me to do another #runDisney race.

It's close-the-roads-we-wanna-make-money-from-a-marathon #RunDisney day at #WDW #WaltDisneyWorld this morning. From 3:45am to 10:00-ish, World drive will be closed - AS WILL THE CONNECTING ROADS TO #DisneysPolynesianVillageResort and #DisneysGrandFloridianResort!!

Many customers do not know they cannot get out via #Uber or #ridesharing! I refuse to deal with it when Uber *STILL* makes us accept those fares, drive halfway there, only to be blocked by closed roads!
