New blog! https://www.exploreyourarchive.org/froebel-learning-through-play/
During May we celebrated Fun and Games. Few were more influential on the origins of fun and games in early years education than German pedagogue Friedrich Froebel (1782 – 1852). To talk us through Froebel’s impact, particularly as applied to the development and use of his ideas in nineteenth century education, is Kornelia Kepok, archivist at the University of Roehampton Archives.

Oh dear, more research. While listening to a podcast on the yellow fever epidemic, it mentioned that there was a British ship captured by the French and brought into Baltimore Harbor. It appears she is the #Roehampton. Not much more can be found except a few diplomatic messages from Jefferson. Anyone know anything?
