Full disclosure: I belong in the NOT refugee campus.
My local band of pirate scammers (aka legal sharks and jobs for the boyz) have issued me with their latest scam threat. See enclosed image. Basically they will have 'no choice', to do what? Move responsibility to another department? Blame anyone they can for trying to protect a historic tree, which is slowly dying due to extreme climate change? The tree in question is the last acacia in this road that was once ALL private acacia trees. One per terraced house.
I saw this threat after I rushed out on seeing a fallen branch blocking the pavement. Last time I checked the pavement was blocked by a 'Forest' brand road bike. Not pavement bike.
Anyways, I brought the branch in to my minute front 'garden' and immediately was able to dismantle by hand as it was dry as bone. I had already watered by watering can some of the plants earlier and the branch was not there.
Pretty sure it is genuine due to the enclosed website address on the form.
Anyway building work has started to keep my ears stimulated...
