  1. Michael Kosta: "Bill Pulte is totally unprepared and ill equipped for this job. How will he fit in with this Fox News weekend morning host who runs the Pentagon, or the supplements pitch man who administers Medicare, or the fake wrestling CEO who runs education, or the #RoadRules guy who makes sure planes don't fall out of the sky. He's going to fit in perfectly? Great."

  2. NO RIGHT TURN ON RED PILOT PROJECT APPROVED

On June 17, 2026, the Region of Waterloo council passed a motion to implement a year-long pilot project to test right-turn-on-red (RTOR) prohibitions at 12 intersections across the region. During the pilot project, transportation staff will monitor the intersections and report to council on the impact of the RTOR prohibitions.

  3. I just found out that hook turns exist in Tasmania! Although only for bicycles. To quote the Tasmanian Road Rules 2019:

**35.**   **Optional hook turn by a bicycle rider**
    (1)  The rider of a bicycle turning right at an intersection without a *hook turn only sign*, or a *no hook turn by bicycles sign*, may turn right at the intersection by making … a hook turn under this rule.

  4. seems like as good a time as any to remember that America's current Secretary of Transportation started his professional career as a cast member of MTV's groundbreaking reality TV shows "The Real World" and "Road Rules" and has no relevant experience of any kind for the job (other than being a #MAGA congressman and a #FoxNews host).

  5. @tylerdlawrence I'm a road cyclist and love anything on 2 wheels. Subsidies for e-bikes? Great! But ... The people riding them need training! Many of the things I've seen e-bike riders do are stupid and dangerous to themselves and others. They need to know the law, handling skills, and safe riding technique. 30mph down a narrow sidewalk in a area of small retail shops is going to kill someone! Too much speed - too little experience! #cycling #roadrules
