I post mostly my #NYC #streetstyle #photography, with some breaking and #political #news. I DO focus more on posting my original #content, and less on #reboosts. And oh yes, I recently bought a new #tesla, which I love, although I hate #elonmusk . Ugh.

    #ReBoosts of ads/article links

    I really like your publication.
    I have, however, seen this ad for about the 10th time in subsequent days, and am still not interested.

    Similarly, with other reboosts.

    I really do not want to mute your handle in general.

    Wouldn't it be possible that you use unique identifier-hashtags, so that readers could mute a particular ad/reference link?

    E. g. #TA1234567

    Thank you for your consideration.

    On #twitter I ditched the algorithm and ads by reading chronologically with #Tweetbot

    But I always filtered simple #retweets which I found overwhelming, instead just following People’s tweets and #QuoteTweets

    For me, it filters for better content to remove simple boosts than #boosts with added content, so if we’re creating our own #algorithm I’d like to do that

    Making “#reboosts” higher friction maybe, and voluntary for the original poster?

    But I might like them

  4. @vy2hf in #Tusky (Android), to mute #reboosts, you do the following:

    Preferences --> Filters/Tabs --> un-check the "show boosts" box

    I can't speak to the official app but Tusky (available on #Fdroid) had that capability.
