After speaking to a friend today have to wonder how much of my parents' abuse could be justified by the pressures of being immigrants handling differences in Asian and western cultures and how much is just indefensible borderline sadistic behaviour

I’m literally bursting at the seams. But i can’t vent. I can’t complain. I can’t direct or explain. Because i will then be told i’m "to sensitive" and that i’m "overreacting". Getting ready for vacation with family is the second worst thing i do. The worst is holidays like xmas and birthdays. No matter how much effort and work i put down, reward is moping, complaining and nit picking. And i can’t say a damned thing. #trauma #traumaresponse #raisedbynarcissists #narcisism #gaslighting
