I came across this photo of a #DB railbus with some tanker cars and a tiny Köff locomotive.
Makes me wonder if it's theoretically possible to use this consist (tanker cars filled with diesel) to do a continuous non-stop (and extremely uncomfortable) version of 'the' longest rail journey in the world*.

Makes me wonder if it's theoretically possible to use this consist (tanker cars filled with diesel) to do a continuous non-stop (and extremely uncomfortable) version of 'the' longest rail journey in the world*.

It's really a #Railbus #Schienenbus. I like the overhead racks. They allow the interior to be perceived as very airy and spacious. You could hold a conference or teach a class in this space.
