Gave a talk on pickle, the built in Python object serialisation library. Fun questions and a little hack session afterwards customising the serialisation used in `multiprocessing`

Thanks @cmaureir for the nice talk at today's #PyconLT (actually, two! :))
Also, that was really accurate kick in the butt for not continuing Lithuanian initiatives. Some of those died (like Ubuntu Baltix) years ago with people losing interest and/or moving on. Btw, found yet another resource translated to the local language:
https://wiki.pitonas.lt/Vadov%C4%97lisAlso, few years ago there was this initiative of translating material regarding microbit devices... But, again. Not that active anymore :)

Just prepared a lightning talk for #PyConLT in 1 minute: 3 + 1 tips to enjoy writing documentation!
0️⃣ Love @readthedocs
1️⃣ Follow the Diàtaxis framework (and never mix explanations and tutorials!)
2️⃣ You can use the second person, it's fine https://ddbeck.com/second-person-is-ok/
3️⃣ You don't need reStructuredText anymore, write Markdown in Sphinx using MyST https://astrojuanlu.github.io/mystyc/Cheers!

New blog post: A Polars exploration into Kedro 🐻❄️
Ahead of @astrojuanlu's workshop on PyCon Lithuania this week, he described in this blog post what's the current status of Polars support in Kedro, how can you use it instead of pandas, and what can you expect in the future.
https://kedro.org/blog/a-polars-exploration-into-kedro
@ritchie46, creator of Polars, will be at the event as well talking about the future of the project.
