But it has proven a #linguistic puzzle to judges across the country. The #statute says a defendant can become eligible for the safety valve if, among other things, the #offense was nonviolent & the defendant “does not have” certain previous convictions. The statute lists those conviction categories as (A), (B) & (C). -

@hschmale @ParanoidFactoid I don't believe voting works well to change things when the entire system is rotten. I still vote but don't put much faith in it. I'd LOVE to see #politicians #pensions #punishments across #TurtleIsland because only thing these public office corrupted elites understand is the language of $$$. Kick 'em in the pensions expectations belly. That's something a huge majority of the public, regardless of who they politically like, would support.
