Currently lying down feeling like a blob of jelly after a good strength training workout. I'm not yet sure if the endorphin high or the muscular pain will win out.
It'll be the endorphins, as usual.
I say as usual, but I'm only a few sessions in after an extended layoff. My next door neighbour has joined me, which is a bit of extra motivation.
I love going through the "novice" phase with its sweet, sweet, linear progression before it all becomes a grind with its more complex programming. Continually adding 2.5 to 5kg each session is a kind of magic.
