Why is it legal to withhold pay from employees who don’t return uniforms? How is that not theft?
I just watched a Dunkin Donuts manager (NOT the owner) inform a new employee of this policy on their first day.
How is a uniform not simply cost of doing business? They already don’t pay a living wage, and they start the relationship with this immediate threat.
Fuck corporations and shareholders.
