Ive been thinking this week about how there are about 50 countries n Europe & 50 states in the US..
After starting 2 socialize n #onlinespaces –specifically ones for vegans,I have experienced a lot of h8 toward Americans & hate toward myself for being American.
It’s no fun-& most of the time the hate comes from well-off Europeans. People with #freehealthcare and #livingwages. People with no fear of homelessness or where their next meal will b coming from.
The same Europeans talk down to u once they hear u have the same accent that is in all the movies – all the while chastising “all of u” for “colonizing“ the country they once owned. Somehow forgetting that they were the ones that sent the genocidal boats over here n the first place.
The same with anti-men rhetoric, there r plenty of people who think “the good ones” wont mind if they say that their country should be bombed &all of their people murdered.

It's good to see that the NYC Drivers' Cooperative is doing well and is ready to help Minneapolis drivers organize a sustainable ride-hailing service in Minnesota.
They need to move quickly, because Uber and Lyft are planning to drop support for Minneapolis on May 1, when a new minimum wage ordinance goes into effect. They are crowdsourcing funds to cover startup costs, including customizing the NYC-focused ride-hailing app for use in Minneapolis.

Our 4H cooking club agreed to do only one fundraiser a year to raise the money they need to run the club. I have been tiredless promoting my work every day and often wish how nice it would be to only have that certain one time in the year I could make all the income to cover my expenses, pay my bills and have a bit extra to enjoy life. I just watched a Dunkin Donuts manager (NOT the owner) inform a new employee of this policy on their first day.
How is a uniform not simply cost of doing business? They already don’t pay a living wage, and they start the relationship with this immediate threat.
