@freakboy3742 this problem has been a topic within the #KDE project recently, where so far #KUserFeedback tried using an opt-in approach to get some basic data…
Since this leaves some huge gaps in this regard, there are now discussions to improve on this based on the privacy-preserving #Privact ecosystem - more details here:
