Had the best Pork and Apple pie and the hottest cup of Flat White coffee for quite some time for lunch( well at 11.30 but I wasn't waiting)
All made and served up in an old Tobacco factory. The Oregon Beams and rafters, probably the same timber sarking lining under the iron roof. The wooden floor was well marked from years of hard labour.
You stumble on these places now and then and it makes your day.
Two staff working in unison, could have been husband and wife, ( noticed an advt for a Cook in the window) keeping up with the flow of steady customers.
Wish it was my local town but alas just passing through.
Thanks ex Tobacco shed cafe. I'm telling the world!

#Dinner for #today was something of a different take on what I'm referring to as #PorkPie. It's not Sheppard's Pie, it's not Cottage Pie. Leftover roast pork shoulder, some mashed cheesy cauliflower, green beans and #MoreCheese!
It's #keto and flipping delicious!
Not bad for just throwing something together.

#cooking #foodie that tom yum soup i made was absolutely delicious. i may make more tomorrow, i've got some tofu & greens i can use. we're gonna have our annual xmas eve dinner at #laurelhurstmarket and i may be making a #beefwellington for xmas day, so having light tasty soups in the preceding days seems like a good leadup. the spouse is going to make a #scottish #porkpie but i'm not interested in that :|
