In November 2023, I reported a serious bug in Python 3.12. The fix didn't make it into 3.13, but the bug is fixed in 3.14. Now I've learned that the fix is backported to 3.12 and 3.13. Thanks to the great Python development team!

  4. Liebe #phython-wesen, was will mir "import error: cannot import espeakbridge from piper" sagen? Mir fehlt wohl ein Modul, doch gibt's nirgends eines mit entspr. Namen zu holen...

  5. Ugh. Changed to a #phython team at work and now I have to use #Intellij instead of #nvim. At least during onboarding.

  6. On top of my learning #rust I have started learning #python. My personal windows machine was updated and I am now playing with it. My #linux box has #python3 installed so no changes there. Work is looking at AI and they mentioned that it will use #python and I figured I am overdue to learn it so that at least one person on the support team is familiar with #python. Downside is that my work machine doesn't have #phython so anything I cannot make and test changes.

I did a minor tweak to my #geany setup so that when I edit #phython code I can launch it there.

  7. With dropbox no longer supporting the zxcvbn python lib, does anybody have an alternative that gives similar backend functionality?

I notice a lot of the alternatives talked about are frontend based. One of the neat things about the python package was being able to check a user's password against other attributes we know about them.

My #perl is very rusty (and this isn't my day job), but I found your #GeneticGenealogy project very interesting, so I wrote a #phython script that does what you ask, loops through two files, and if both first and second fields match, then the text is appended. Is your project related to a surname group at #FTDNA? I'm starting as a surname project leader there (#LittleFamily). I love playing with #regex puzzles, so it was fun to apply it to #DNA.

    Best! Steve

Wie kann ich Input() in der console an einen Build Prozess übergeben ?

    Scheitere bisher kläglich 😔
