This weekend, I finished my first playthrough of #Cyberpunk2077 on my #Linux desktop. However, realized that I didn't have #PhantomLiberty installed as well.

I struggled and failed to get it installed using #Lutris. Then I deleted the install in hopes of getting it to work on a fresh one.

I switched to #Heroic after trying and failing with Lutris a few times. I will say that Heroic looks nicer and was able to fully download everything without issue. I've had problems with Lutris doing that in the past with my #GOG account.

The last attempt could load the CD Projekt Red menu, but when I clicked on the load game option, the screen went back to my desktop and it said it was running, but nothing really happened.

I saw someone suggesting that I try using #Steam by adding the game and using the GOG installers, so I might try that.

It's definitely issues like this that make gaming on Linux a chore at times.

My goodness, I got to the end of Phantom Liberty and I didn’t think the game would go full Alien: Isolation. How cool is that? It doesn’t feel out of place and fits the quest perfectly. It’s great how CDPR keeps coming up with these little surprises.

Gestern hab ich #PhantomLiberty durch gespielt. Da kam mir ein gedanke.

Ich kann einfach nicht als Mörderhobo da durch gehen durch das spiel; #Jackie würde sich im Grabe umdrehen deswegen. Der gibt schon irgendwie nen moralischen Kompass vor, findet ihr auch?

Time to get back to #MutantCrawlClassics and my #MEPACON one-shot. My goal is to get this thing written this weekend.

IMPORTANT (gaming) QUESTIONS, PLEASE HELP!

Should I replay Cyberpunk 2077 (which I really enjoyed on the Xbox Series X) with all of the new updates or just dive into the DLC?

I also have a GeForce 3070Ti, should I stick with the Series X version or play my GOG version?

Joa, die #OpeningNightLive war ganz nett. Ich hatte jetzt nicht ein großes Highlight wie letztes Jahr mit #LiesOfP, aber #CrimsonDesert, #UnderTheWaves und #AraHistoryUntold haben mir z.B. gut gefallen.
Die #PhantomLiberty Erweiterung für #Cyberpunk2077 sieht nice aus, aber ich habe eben weder die Zeit noch die Hardware, Cyberpunk zu spielen... 😅
