DA NORD A SUD SOLIDARIETÀ NO PONTE‼️
🤡Mentre il Ministro delle Infrastrutture Matteo Salvini continua a parlare il Ponte sullo Stretto come la grande risposta ai bisogni del Sud, il Sud vive la catastrofe ambientale più profonda degli ultimi decenni: il Ciclone Harry si abbatte sulle coste di Sicilia, Calabria e Sardegna lasciando strade e case divelte. Qualche giorno più tardi una frana devastante colpisce la città di Niscemi con più di mille sfollati.
💢Alla più grande catastrofe ambientale che il Mezzogiorno abbia vissuto negli ultimi anni – per stime dei danni superiore persino al Vajont – i Tg nazionali dedicano pochi secondi. Ancora una volta, un Paese diviso, dove esistono tragedie di serie A e tragedie di serie B. Abusivismo, condoni e malaffare sono le uniche parole che si sentono pronunciare.
🔻In questo contesto di disastri ambientali, precarietà diffusa e senso di abbandono, le lotte territoriali restano centrali, unica speranza per rivendicare il diritto ad un’esistenza dignitosa nelle regioni meridionali. Non grandi opere calate dall’alto, ma relazioni, solidarietà, alleanze.
🔻Un’anno fa in questo periodo si teneva il Carnevale No Ponte. Amich3, compagn3 e sorell3 oggi si ritrovano colpite dalla repressione con la sola colpa di aver alzato la testa sulle condizioni di vita della comunità di Messina e della popolazione meridionale. Siamo al loro fianco in questa lotta, da Nord a Sud, da Messina a Bologna.

The panzerotti reheating experiment went as well as I could've imagined. This is absolutely worth pursuing further. Next time, I'll do Ham & Cheese to keep costs down.
At 250°F, it needed 15 minutes extra because the internal temp was only at 145°F. (45 mins total time) The crust texture was decent for not being fresh. The consistency of the filling could use more moisture.

I forgot to test my frozen panzerotti experiment yesterday. This morning I popped it in the fridge to thaw partially. I think gently heating it in the toaster oven at 250°F for 30 minutes will be a reasonable starting point.

The Cheesesteak panzerotti turned out pretty awesome for the first attempt. This is absolutely worth perfecting. A deep dish pizza version is also a possibility. I'll be trying to grow a variety of colored peppers next year.

The cheesesteak filling is cooling. I should've cut the peppers into small dice because they didn't cook down as I envisioned. Also, it needs some more color. Perhaps rainbow peppers will do the trick.

This afternoon's panzerotti attempt looked kinda like the shape of a human heart. I'm not skilled enough to do it on purpose. Day 6 of the experimental dough: it's still usable, and I still have enough for one last experiment tonight. My production method improved after seeking guidance from YouTube videos.
