Cheesesteak-inspired pizza for lunch. I should've used the diced tomatoes leftover from the previous sessions before they go bad. Too late now, I don't do raw tomato. Maybe I'll remember for the next pizza.

The Cheesesteak panzerotti turned out pretty awesome for the first attempt. This is absolutely worth perfecting. A deep dish pizza version is also a possibility. I'll be trying to grow a variety of colored peppers next year.

Today, I'm getting ready to work on a Cheesesteak inspired panzerotti experiment: chopped eye round, bell pepper, onion, mushroom, mozzarella, and Alfredo sauce.

Not sure we got the ‘best cheesesteak in Philly’ but we found one heck of a sandwich shop. The sandwiches were HUGE and the ingredients really fresh. The Statiooch was magnificent and the cheesesteak was good too.

Thoughts on my #cheesesteak feast:
The family said it was all great. (Was unable to get a photo since they all were ate. One was left but onions/peppers/cheese was use in the others so not accurate)
My own ranking: 6.5/10 - definitely harder on myself and room for improvement
My marinade was great - everything was soft and tender
Double the amount of onion/green peppers - they cooked down way more than I expected
