Wardley maps has been a useful tool for me over the last few years.
I’m getting a lot of value from seeing David Anderson do it live at #oredev.
There are good questions and perspectives I haven’t thought about previously.
The audience participation is also great!

Who remembers Paladin & “Have Gun, will travel” #TVShow from long ago? I cringe at the #TagLine now, & my memory is that the hero tried to find other solutions to ppl’s problems. Anyway, I used it as a meme today (Have /particular app/, will travel.) then realized my recipient probably had no idea what I was referencing. #GettingOlder #OutOfDate #GenerationGap I do much better in my #keynote #talks. Much more #onTrend #upToDate #edgey #Agile , I promise. See you at #Øredev conference in Malmö.

If you are at #OreDev the next few days - prioritize the talk by @suksr on #DDD #TeamTopologies #WardleyMapping
.. if you think this could apply to better #TestStrategy give me a ping 😉

Met Simon Harrer of #innoq at #oredev and was gifted an early edit of his fantastic book "#Java by Comparison: Become a Java Crafter in 70 Examples".
Looking forward to diving into his very hands-on way on how to make your code cleaner, or easier to understand, which is how I see it.
The good thing is that the examples have little Java specifics and can be applied to many high level languages. So I'll definitely introduce it to my team where we code in #TypeScript.

Basking in the afterglow of #oredev2023 #oredev. Such a wonderful conference, so welcoming, so brilliant, so cutting edge! The organizers created a sense of ephemeral community, though many of the connections we made will be lasting. I appreciate the kind words people gave me after my talks. I appreciate the spontaneous “hallway” conversations about books and life! I appreciate the collegiality I found in #Malmö 😀
