Truth matters. Being told police CAN'T update you on your Op Snap report, because of GDPR is a lie. Being told you're a witness and not a victim of crime is a lie.

Another week, another car going for shit parking bingo in this spot. #OpSnap are sending a warning letter.

14 minutes for #OpSnap to review this footage and decide to take action against this driver.
I have no idea what they were thinking doing this - while it's not the worst #ClosePass, it might be among the most pointless: Quickly overtake and squeeze me in order to... get stuck in a queue behind a bin lorry, and save themselves 0 seconds, because I just scoot past and go up the bike lane.

Update on this, after I responded to #OpSnap that I wasn't happy that a 6 and 9 year old had to just accept that an angry man could swear at them for simply cycling home from school, they will now be sending a warning letter about this unacceptable behaviour.

Do yourself & police you submit the report to, a favour: copy the suggested report from here, and amend it to reflect your circumstances & the unique scenario of each close pass.
The NR of drivers prosecuted should rise if you do this.

CW: Swearing
I really don't get the mindset of this man, who, when he sees a dad and his two young children cycling home from school in the *opposite* direction, causing no delay or harm to him, feels the need to shout FUCKING DICKHEAD at them.
Unfortunately #OpSnap don't deal with public order offences.
Can't say we didn't make an effort to be seen by drivers either - all of us were wearing fluorescent tabards, with lights on bikes and twinkly LEDs on the bike frames.

Thanks to West Mercia Police #OpSnap, this driver will be getting a warning letter for:
a) Parking in a cycle lane
b) On double yellow lines
c) Next to a set of traffic lightsIt's like they're trying to go for shit parking bingo.

West Mercia Police are taking action against this van with no MOT and an abusive driver after I submitted this footage to #OpSnap
As we arrived back on Gregorys Bank when I asked if he'd considered stopping, he said I was going to get myself "fucking killed".

Seems a fair result as this driver needs to give as little more thought and space to others.

If you thought that seeing a large #BikeBus of adults and children on the road wearing hi viz would stop drivers being driving without due care, you'd be wrong.
Reported this Audi to #OpSnap for failing to stop and proceeding along a carriageway full of children, 81 minutes later West Mercia confirmed they will be taking action. #BikeTooter
