My best "rubber duck" is whatever public support fora exist for whatever I'm bloodying my forehead on. I rarely actually get useful responses, but just asking does something, sometimes.

Well then, I guess I’ll have to replace that disk…

Except it’s a virtual disk, and should NOT be doing that. None of the other umpty-zillion VMs in that zone are showing trouble. Only this one. And the 3 other instances I launched before based on the the same original image, provided as a pre-built one for #OpenNebula from the #Alma site. On different physical hosts.

I am pondering how the content+config of system image could lead to this. sysctls?

@itwars @ungleich @alpinelinux Not that many as of now, but some key points:

- we have #opennebula running for all current VM workload
- for various reasons we want to move that workload over to k8s - including, but not limited to: more flexible / easier rescheduling of VMs and being coherent with the rest of our stack
- main concern is live migration handling in k8s and management aspects such as accessing the console, rebooting the VM

Для Лиги Лени: все очень плохо, хотя это смотря для кого 2007: Компания «РБК-Центр» (Армада) объявлена победителем конкурса на заключение гос. контракта по созданию пакета свободного программного обеспечения и пилотному апробированию этого пакета программ в образовательных учреждениях. Соисполнителями объявлены ALT Linux, Linux Ink. 17.03.2008 Мининформсвязи опубликовало Концепцию развития разработки и использования свободного ПО в России 13 сентября 2010 Глава «Ростехнологий» Сергей Чемезов доложил президенту России Дмитрию Медведеву, что национальная программная платформа уже создается на базе ПО компании «Альт Линукс». Можно сказать, что последние 15-20 лет каждый второй год шел под знаком импортозамещения, исключая те, что шли как годы победы Linux на десктопе. Но есть, как говорится, нюанс. Что там далее
