Walked through #Goolugatup Heathcote in Applecross on a headland above the Derbarl Yerrigan Swan River.

Many tall beautiful trees.

But this is social media and we're looking at the large gum tree that has no large branches left on it.

There are signs of large branches having broken off the massive trunk. Others have been cut off.

And a chainsaw cut has been started on the trunk near its base.

This tree may be a widowmaker.

#Morose, I #grimace at the day without a #word. Everything in life is #ephemeral, albeit I don't feel it. I open my #heart, anyway, allow the #sunlight to slowly melt away the pain. Maybe tomorrow I'll see the #fruit of my efforts and wake up to a #eucalyptus fresh morning.
