Hence, in June of this year, 2023, nearly 200 countries adopted the #BiodiversityBeyondNationalJurisdiction treaty, also called the #BBNJ. We will explore what this treaty seeks to accomplish and what mechanisms are in place to protect #OceanSpecies."
