Been waiting for a new built #accordion to be delivered. It should hopefully finally arrive tomorrow, which will be 35 days after it took off from France. It spent 29 of those 35 days sitting with first French customs then (and especially bad) with UK customs. I've just finally been able to pay the customs fee and arrange final delivery. All of this extra delay is due to #Brexit. Without it the box would probably have reached me in just 5 days, not 35. #NotProjectFear #BrexitReality #Squeezebox

Today's discovery is that there's a #customs #trade #tariff code just for accordions. Actually there are two: one for normal ones, another for amplified boxes. Finally got a letter from Parcelforce asking questions about my French #accordion that has been creeping here (dratted #Brexit) since the start of May. Still a way off me getting it in my hands, but progress. #squeezebox #BrexitReality #NotProjectFear

No letter yet from #Parcelforce re my #accordion in transit from #France since the start of May. So phoned them up. Looks like it is stuck sitting in the Parcelforce "High Value Store", not even cleared for me to pay #customs yet. Aarrgghh! At best guess it may be several more weeks till I can even pay the customs fee. It might be well over another month. So yup not coming any time soon. My accordion's very slow journey from a neighbouring country continues. It is now with #UK #customs authorities. It was sent 2+ weeks ago from #France, and has spent almost all that time sitting being assessed in two countries for customs.
