  16. Looking for good Notion alternatives.

    I've been using Notion for the past 2 years and, honestly, I love it. But this year they dropped their maximum allowed blocks to 1000, meaning I'm now waaaaaay over the limit of the free tier and they want to charge a ridiculous amount for the base.

    I'm looking into Trilium, and wanting to self host it. (Although there's a fairly affordable option at trilium.cc)

    For the Trilium users- what's your favourite part of it, and would you say $26/y is worth it? Or is self hosting a better option?

    I'm open to any other FOSS system, I want to be in controll of my data, my notes and files. I need access to it from any device (so Web service). I made extensive use of Notion's database feature. Does Trilium offer a similar solution?
