  1. Alright friends, what do we think....doctor or dumbass? Check out our 20% off sale @ capitoltrash.etsy.com #blasphemy #notadoctor #jesuschrist #trump #dementiadon #falseprophet

  2. @RobeeShepherd it's standard inflammation response I presume?

Immune response to invasive proteins, the tissue expansion causes more local blood flow, and a temperature hot spot intended to reduce the effectiveness of the foreign material. #NotADoctor

  3. @intransitivelie (cont'd).

"more effective and faster is to buy a battery-powered infant nasal aspirator at any pharmacy or online for <$20 and use it for 2 minutes, alternating for 10 seconds per nostril while holding the other nostril (and mouth, and soft palette) closed. Idea is to suction just from one nostril at a time."

  4. @falcennial erm. That sounds alarming tbh. you been to a doctor to test for long covid, ME/CFS, fibromyalgia or some kind of .. idk, but that doesn't sound right.
Most healthy-ish people with no conditions don't feel that bad that quickly, I've always been told. (Never experienced it myself, but ho hum.)

  5. TIL if one hand starts becoming paler in color than the other, especially after typing, it is a possible indicator of carpal tunnel syndrome. You're probably putting pressure on the nerve and artery in your hand which both run through the carpal tunnel. Make sure to take breaks and stretch your wrists.

  6. @MatthewChat Some thoughts from a stranger on M. I’m #NotADoctor, and neither is Google (I did find the comic a bit funny).
That said, “having a mass” is not a symptom. Symptoms for Sarco are often very similar to long-covid: fatigue, muscle weakness, PEM (post-excertional malaise), brain fogs. Also, coughing, yes. Latest research shows symptoms occur in groups, so S diagnosis may still be covering multiple causes…

  7. @Schrank @Frau_Sofa
+1 an die Theorie das die Strümpfe eine (zwei?) Größe(n) zu eng sind.

  8. @BendingUnit
It sounds like it is confusing correlations with causation. If an effect follows a vaccine, there are those who think one caused the other. It is not necessarily so.

    However, also #NotADoctor here.

  9. @gilesgoat you are now misaligned. To even yourself out, try to lick your other elbow.

#NotADoctor do not follow the above advice

  10. @decryption get rid of the betadine taste with a whisky after #NotADoctor

  11. Ok, hear me out... *Bloodletting*

You got high blood pressure? Let some blood out - say, a gil, maybe - blood pressure goes down.

Sure, it eventually get replenished. But until it does, pressure is lower right? That's why you get light headed when you give blood.

So, if you have high blood pressure, what if you donated blood semi-regularly? Two birds with one stone. Blood banks fill up, and you get a free cookie. Big pharma loses a profit stream.

  12. @a There are hormones that can be different between most men and women, which could potentially be attacked by a virus or other pathogen, while leaving the other alone.

However, this would probably end up not causing a lot of death, as the receptors that would make it really good at attacking testosterone would make it really bad at attacking red blood cells.

  13. A friend has #COVID. Their in-law texted the following, unprompted. It's not the stupidity, but the arrogant self-confidence for me.

  14. @kendonnelly once I tested positive I didn't test again (except the confirmation PCR). I just counted down the days. I thought there is a chance of testing positive long after you are no longer infectious? #notadoctor

  15. CW: Dishwasher Maintenance Thoughts

@jankhambrams I don’t know man. Maybe putting food into your body that gets stuck in dishwashers, isn't the best thing for you? #notadoctor

  16. @jonbeckett not at all, I have two coffees before work every morning. It's fine
