#Trump has sent his request to the #US #Congress to rescind the funding they approved for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting which will of course be approved because Congress is controlled by the MAGA. That means #newjersey 's NJ #PBS is going to lose about $2 million in funding. The Shore is a huge driver of the economy for #NewJersey as well as important habitat for many species.

Only about $1.50 per American is used from our taxes for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting which is an important source of funding for #PBS and #NPR . Those services provide some of the only local news coverage in rural areas of the #USA which aren't covered by the major networks. Such as my homeland in the #Adirondacks of #NewYork . Support public broadcasting.
