When I was on Windows 10 (I'm on Linux nowadays).
I remember this was a good document scanner with a built-in OCR.

Une cliente a des problèmes de messagerie. Sa boite est pleine et certains de ses contacts ne reçoivent pas ses pièces jointes.
Les pièces jointes en question : des PDF de 16Mo contenant... une feuille scannée avec l'application de Windows.Étape 1 : vider le dossier des éléments envoyés
Étape 2 : installer #NAPS2 qui fait scan et OCR et enregistre en PDF pour moins de 300Ko
Avec son interface de l'an 2000, tout est paramétrable
Encore une victoire du #logiciellibre

Unter #Windows habe ich mir mit #naps2 (https://www.naps2.com/ wenigstens ein bisschen leichter getan.
(+ kann als PDF Speichen
- kann nicht vom Dokumenten-Einzug scannen) -
The other day I've been installing a small HP printer/scanner for a relative. I've downloaded the official HP application for Windows 10, and I've soon discovered, that #HP would not let us scan any documents unless we create an online account. The manufacturer would not let you use the device you purchased unless you give them personal information. The (dystopian) future is now!
I just installed #NAPS2 and we were done with HP's crap.
I am shook. Using #FOSS is becoming an absolute necessity.
