#Ganoderma lucidum grows a skin to cover its mycelium—its root-like part. The skin protects the mushroom from other #fungi and #bacteria. It is flexible, provideds good insulation and is able to withstand high temperatures. It works nearly as well as plastic substrates for #ComputerChips.
