@alwirtes people are going to recommend #MotionEye and or #MotionEyeOS but I spent a fruitless month trying to use it to run a #Rpi dash cam and got NOWHERE.

Before someone jumps in to ask "have you tried #MotionEye?
Yes. it's too old and too unsupported for current #raspberrypi bookworm OS, and the kernel dependencies mean it won't see my camera.
#MotionEyeOS (which is diff from MotionEye!) is a black box at the command line as far as I can tell, and though I got it running, it doesn't see any camera I have.

#Motioneyeos #raspberrypi I suddenly can`t boot my rpi3 running motioneyeos. Worked flawlessly for months. Then borked after a reboot of router. Gives me an error on #bcrmfmac error on boot. Issues with wifi. #mastohelp #linux

@pavido Das wäre eine schöne Lösung, allerdings mit einer kleineren Kamera. Nur leider ist #MotionEyeOs anscheinend #Abendonware. Gibts da mittlerweile eine Alternative oder einen Fork?
