I'm 2/3 of the way through clue #1. The final clue (#4) is about to come out! So, I've had to majorly adjust my self-expectations. It's OK to take longer. I don't know why I put these time pressures on myself.

Tried for the brioche stitch for THREE AND A HALF DAYS!!!!! Still couldn't conquor it, although I think I finally understand what went wrong. Epic fail.

🆘️😣🆘️ Have tried brioche for 1st time on this MKAL. Ripped it out a kazillion times. Missed YOs in setup row too, finally got that right to = 37 but still, the brioche looks weird. Is this right or wrong? Aaaaarrhh.

Houston, we finally have lift-off!

Got MusiKAL off the ground, at last. Hit the brioche section, a stitch pattern I've never done before. So a LOT of frogging going on. I keep reminding myself, frogging IS knitting, part of the process. Am one week behind. If I can conquor clue #1, clue #2 looks super easy. This is a fun one!

Playing w 2 skeins so far. Exploring this quasi-autumnal cream speckled yarn from HedgeHog. Maybe add this darkish gray, a gold or golden brown, a deep blue, or maybe a deep berry brown? Pop a mohair note somewhere? It was hard to see in artificial light. Not sure about aqua for this #MKAL though. Note - color off in these shots

Something else = Wanting to make time/energy put into project all worth it... Creative thought & pondering. Shopping stash job - huge, w major disabilities at play right now. Swatching, re-swatching. The anticipation, awaiting 1st #MKAL clue. Knitting/frogging clue #1 multiple times. Screwing up early into clue #2. I think "If I frog it, I've wasted my time and energy. And that would be bad." So I put it away. Until #FinishOrFrogAlong! 😊 We need a therapist here, stat! 📢

This was a fun #MKAL... Design by Rosemary (Romi) Hill, called Way Leads On To Way. I greatly endorse her MKALs, always a good experience, always learn something new. The two I've done, anyway!
