With ref to the last boost, independent of any other commentary i would have, I thought it was a real net positive in #uganda to learn that journalists are also eligible for #microfinancing via formal Savings and Credit Cooperative Cooperations (SACCO). One i asked said it reduced pressure to do for-hire #journalism, and some could put in money for better gear. (SACCO is a bit like a tontine/chit fund arrangement)
