Watched once again one of my favorite videos, Maxine Brown singing the classic Goffin/King composition "Oh No Not My Baby" on the Bitter End Show in 1968.
Maxine Brown: Oh No Not My Baby
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtY1Jj9uppUThe song has been recorded by countless others, from Dusty Springfield to Rod Stewart, but Brown was the first to release it, and had the hit version in 1964. This is a live performance, in which she is backed by a great band apparently led by pianist Bernie Worrell.
