The Rentals: Lost in Alphaville (Polyvinyl PRC-278, 2014)
Return of the Rentals is one of my favorite albums of the 90s but that was never released on vinyl. This album tries to recapture some of that magic 20 years later and mostly fails. But hey, I’m still down with P.

In the 90s I loved that first Rentals record as I've mentioned- and the Rentals have like, this strange alternate version of it on Bandcamp (with a live version of Friends of P? And missing The Love I'm Searching For?), which is weird, but the version they have there has this song that was on the Friends of P single that I had back in the 90s-- it's called 'So Soon', and it's rad as fuck. The Moog hook, the simplicity. Man, those Rentals.
