Sparklehorse - Bird Machine
Who better than Steve Albini to โforceโ Mark Linkous into getting these lovely songs onto tape, quickly and simply.
A melancholy experience listening and knowing neither will be making any new material, but happy for what we have.
This, of course, was a โlostโ album, finished by Markโs brother and some collaborators.
A fitting tribute to all involved. RIP.

Well this is certainly an early Christmas present: a previously unreleased Sparklehorse song! It's so great to hear Mark Linkous' voice again. This is the first "new" song released since Linkous killed himself in 2010.
