I watched Mannequin because it's a shit film that I quite like.

You can see it has a case of quite-good-actors-with-very-little-material--to-work-with. So you have James Spader really hamming it up because his character is so dull and one dimensional.

But Kim Catrall and the other guy do go well together and they make the movie worth watching. It's not so much great on-screen chemistry, it's just that they play their parts well.
